TRUMPāS CRYPTO CONFLICT š¦
BREAKING: Bitcoin Holds Steady as ECB Forum Looms, Traders Gear for Volatility Shift

President Trump just gave Bitcoin another endorsementā¦
While sidestepping mounting criticism over his sprawling crypto empireā¦
In a press conference this week, Trump:
Praised Bitcoin for ātaking pressure off the dollarā
Deflected calls to divest from his personal crypto ventures
Claimed credit for ābuilding the American crypto industryā
And despite growing Democrat pressure over potential conflicts of interest, heās not backing down.
āI got involved [in crypto] before I decided to run,ā he said, brushing off concerns tied to World Liberty Financial (his familyās DeFi platform), USD1 (their stablecoin), and the Solana-based meme coin TRUMP.

But the real story isnāt the controversy - itās the conviction.
Trump isnāt just pro-crypto for the headlines.
Heās openly framing Bitcoin as a strategic economic asset - even hinting it could help solve the Triffin Dilemma, a fundamental flaw in the dollarās global reserve role.
āIt takes a lot of pressure off the dollar, and itās a great thing for our country,ā he said - pointing to Bitcoinās growing use in global trade and payments.
Meanwhile:
The dollar just hit a 3-year low
U.S. bond yields are surging
And Americaās $37 trillion debt is only getting worse
Critics say Trumpās entanglements are unethical.
Supporters say heās playing 4D chess with the future of money.
Either way, one thingās clear:
The sitting U.S. President sees Bitcoin not as a threat - but as part of the solution. š

A CONSERVATIVE PREDICTION⦠š§
Bitcoin to $500,000?
Ric Edelman says thatās conservative.

If you donāt know who Ric Edelman is, he's not some random Twitter influencer.
Heās one of the most respected financial advisors in the U.S. - and he just made his boldest call yet:
āFinancial advisors should be recommending 10% to 40% of portfolios in crypto.ā
Let that sink in.
This is the guy who once said 1% was enough.
Now? Heās telling traditional investors to go 40x that.
Who Is Ric Edelman?
š Founder of Edelman Financial Engines - $270+ Billion under managemen
š NYT bestselling author
šļø Named #1 Independent Financial Advisor in America 3x by Barronās
Why the Massive Shift?
A lot has changed since 2021:
Governments didnāt ban Bitcoin
The tech didnāt fail
Institutions and consumers adopted it
Crypto has gone from āmaybeā to mainstream.
And according to Edelman, itās time portfolios reflect that.
The 60/40 Portfolio Is Dead
Ric says the classic 60% stocks / 40% bonds model is outdated.
Why?
Weāre living longer.
The average life expectancy in the U.S. has jumped from 47 to 85.
Soon it could hit 100.
That means people need better returns than bonds can provide⦠and uncorrelated assets to manage risk.
Why Crypto Fits
āBitcoin doesnāt move in sync with stocks, bonds, gold, or oil.ā
Thatās what makes it powerful.
It boosts returns.
It reduces risk.
It improves portfolio theory stats.
Final Take
Edelman isnāt making random predictions.
Heās calling for math.
āSome analysts predict Bitcoin will hit $150,000- $250,000 by the end of this year and $500,000 by the end of this decade. Thatās a conservative estimateā¦ā
For serious long-term investors?
Bitcoin isnāt just an option anymore.
Itās a requirement. š§

PRESSURE COOKER š§āš³
Letās kick off the week with a look at the Bitcoin HODL Waves - one of the clearest snapshots of market conviction.
Each coloured band represents the percentage of Bitcoin that last moved within a specific time frame.
The cooler the colour, the older the coins - with purple showing Bitcoin that hasnāt moved in 10+ years.
As always, weāre focusing on long-term holders (LTHs) - defined as coins held for more than six months.

Hereās how the Bitcoin supply breakdown looks today compared to two weeks ago:
6m - 12m: 16.54% (up from 15.94%)
1y - 2y: 11.06% (up from 10.88%)
2y - 3y: 7.89% (down from 8.03%)
3y - 4y: 6.80% (down from 6.81%)
4y - 5y: 8.77% (up from 8.67%)
5y - 10y: 14.80% (down from 14.81%)
>10y: 9.31% (up from 9.28%)
TL;DR: 75.17% of all Bitcoin hasnāt moved in over six months. š
What stands out?
A clear surge in the 6ā12 month cohort - the largest two-week jump on the board. That means short-term holders are aging into long-term conviction.
At the same time, small dips in the 2ā3y, 3ā4y, and 5ā10y bands likely reflect light profit-taking - not panic selling or structural weakness.
The broader trend is what matters:
Long-term holders are sitting tight
Liquid supply keeps drying up
Conviction is building, not fading
And when you combine a tightening supply with growing demand?
You donāt get weakness.
You get a pressure cooker.
Bitcoinās supply side is locked up. And the longer this holds, the more explosive the eventual move becomes.
