ETF MARKETING BLITZ HEATS UP 🔥
BREAKING: BlackRock drops ‘boomer’ Bitcoin ETF ad as marketing blitz ramps up

Whilst other ETH issuers have embraced pop-culture references such as BitWise, BlackRock has opted for a more ‘mature’ approach.
BlackRock recently released its first video advertisement for its newly launched Bitcoin ETF (IBIT)…. And it’s a little boring to say the least…
BUT, analysts believe it’s the perfect ad for the wealthy boomer market.
The ad can be viewed below. 👇
The ad consists of a BlackRock executive outlining what Bitcoin is over the top of some royalty free music. 😂
The ad also raises 3 key points on why investors should choose IBIT.
Ease of access - can be traded like any other stock
Convenience - removes burden of self-custody
Quality - issued under BlackRock’s reputation and expertise in the ETF space (basically - “we’re BlackRock, trust us”)
Although this ad completely goes against Bitcoin culture, ETF analyst Eric Balchunas believes it to be perfect for the target audience (rich boomers).
Digital asset investor Fred Krueger also framed it in an interesting way:
“My generation of wealthy boomers doesn't particularly like tattoo covered Gen-x ers telling them that the entire financial system needs to be scrapped… We're happily adding IBIT and FBTC to our portfolios, because we trust BlackRock and Fidelity. More so than we trust Coinbase, and certainly more so than hardware wallets.”
The Bitcoin ETF marketing war is heating up. 🔥
Stay tuned for more. 😎

DONALD TRUMP WINS BIG 🇺🇸
Donald Trump just won a landslide victory in the Iowa Caucus.
He is now the favourite to become the 2024 U.S President.
For those unfamiliar, the Iowa Caucus is the first major contest in the U.S presidential election.
It’s generally seen as a crucial indicator of how candidates will perform in the real election. This time around - it wasn’t even close.
Here’s how the voting turned out:
Donald Trump - 51%
Ron DeSantis - 21.2%
Nikki Haley - 19.1%
Vivek Ramaswamy - 7.7%
Donald Trump is now the clear favourite to become President overall.
We’re not here to pick sides.
Republican or Democrat, you do you.
We want to get down to one thing - how will this affect crypto?
As it turns out, Donald Trump is probably the best candidate in terms of how your crypto investments will perform.
Trump has a varied history in crypto.
In 2019 he tweeted out this:
Cleary, he wasn’t a fan.
However, 2019 was 5 years ago.
Since then, it seems Trump has changed his tune on crypto.
How do we know this?
Both Trump and his wife Melania have since released multiple NFT projects to great success.
You can check out one of Trumps more funky collections here.
Not our cup of tea, but you can’t argue with the results. Trump has profited close to $5 million from his NFT drops.
On top of this, in August 2023, it was revealed in court documents that Trump holds $2.8 million dollars in Ethereum.
This means if Trump is elected President, he will be the first sitting President to have released NFTs & publicly hold crypto.
The likelihood of Trump then introducing anti-crypto policy would be extremely low.
Finally, Trump is known for putting pressure on the Federal Reserve to lower interest rates and stimulate the economy.
When interest rates drop & more money is printed, assets furthest out on the risk curve benefit the most.
That means Bitcoin & crypto.
Wether you like Trump or not, if he is elected in 2024, chances are it will benefit your crypto bags. 🚀

THE INSTITUTIONS ARE HERE 💰
We all knew it was going to be big.
Bitcoin ETF approval week saw $1.18 billion in net inflows. That is absolutely massive.
However, the total trading volume was even crazier.
Digital asset investment products traded $17.5 billion last week, the highest ever recorded. (this is all crypto ETPs globally btw, not just the US ETFs)
If you’re new around here, or not quite sure what we mean by digital asset investment products, checkout this short article.

Look at the size of those inflows 😮
Who didn’t see this coming?
Bitcoin wiped the floor with every other asset this week, experiencing $1.142 billion in net inflows.
That’s 96.35% of the total weekly inflows. 😱
Ethereum came in second with $25.7 million in weekly inflows. (expect to see this to continue to rise as we approach the Ethereum ETFs)

As expected, the US dominated with $1.24 billion of inflows last week.
Switzerland saw the second largest amount of inflows at $24.2 million.
Whilst Canada, Germany and Sweden experienced the largest outflows at $44.2m, $27.0m and $15.5m respectively.
CoinShares notes that these outflows were likely from traders switching from Europe to the US.

Definitely a BIG first week for the Bitcoin ETFs.
The institutions have well and truly joined the party. 🎉 💰
It’ll be interesting to see what next weeks inflows are. Will the momentum continue?
CRACKING CRYPTO 🥜
Samson Mow believes Bitcoin will surge to $1 million 'within days or weeks' once supply crunch hits. JAN3 CEO and Bitcoin bull Samson Mow believes that Bitcoin will see a significant supply shock in the coming days that could potentially cause its price to surge to $1 million within a matter of ‘days or weeks.’
Bitcoin faces ‘very limited liquidity’ as BTC price pushed below $43K. Bitcoin rejects firmly near $43,000 with BTC price failing to recover from its recent drop.
Solana takes break from eating Ethereum's lunch — for now. Ethereum is constantly pestered by smaller competitors for mindshare. Some reckon Solana could be the final boss.
JPMorgan Sees Significant Capital From Existing Crypto Products Pouring Into New Spot Bitcoin ETFs. The newly created ETFs could attract inflows of up to $36 billion from other crypto products like Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC), a report said.
