TRUMPS WINS, NEW ALL-TIME HIGHS! 🎆

Wow, there it is…

Donald Trump has just won the US Presidential Election.

Trump currently has a confirmed 267 of the 270 electoral votes needed to win the White House. (As of 3:35am ET)

As Trump is also leading in the key states left to be called, including Michigan and Wisconsin, Fox has called the election for him.

The New York Times projects Trump will receive 306 electoral college votes, with a greater than 95% chance of victory.

Polymarket also has Trump at a 99.6% chance of victory:

At the end of the day, it wasn’t even close.

In response, Bitcoin & crypto exploded.

In fact, Bitcoin set new all-time highs… TWICE! 🤯

Early in the day, Bitcoin briefly crossed over the $75,000 mark, setting a new all-time high of $75,011.

But then…

When Trump started to take a commanding lead in Pennsylvania (A key swing state), Bitcoin pumped again.

This time surging past $75,000 and setting a new all-time high of $75,361.

Why is a Trump presidency is so bullish for the future of Bitcoin and crypto?

• Strategic Bitcoin Reserve - Trump has pledged to never sell any of the US governments seized Bitcoin

• Fire SEC Chair Gary Gensler - Trump has vowed to fire Gary Gensler from his position as SEC Chair and replace him with a pro-crypto candidate (Hester Peirce is the top pick)

• Forming a Bitcoin and Crypto Advisory Council - Trump intends to set up a council dedicated to providing clear regulatory guidance for the crypto industry

• Support US Bitcoin Mining - Trump aims to make the US a leading nation in Bitcoin mining by promoting policies that encourage domestic mining operations

• Free Ross Ulbricht - Trump pledged to commute the sentence of Ross Ulbricht, the founder of the Silk Road online marketplace. Ulbricht has been serving a life sentence since 2015 for his role in operating Silk Road, a darknet market that facilitated the sale of illegal goods and services using Bitcoin.

What unfolded today was the best-case scenario for crypto: Republicans achieved a clean sweep, taking the Presidency, Senate, and House.
